EisGeists were murderous spirits dwelling in cold waters.
Description and Characteristics[]
The EisGeists were pale and wraithlike, bearing long limbs and clawed hands, with white irises. They fed on bones and tangled their victims in seaweed rope dragging the bodies behind them until all of the flesh had rotted away.
History[]
Legend states that Morsa had created them when practising her necromancy, trying to unlock the secrets of immortality. The EisGeists were failures: tormented, half-souled spectres, neither alive nor dead. Thus, they were discarded by Morsa, within the Arctic Ocean, but the EisGeists endured, with some even managing to reach the northern parts of the Atlantic.
